Through the Law Enforcement Strategic Support (LESS) Crime Act, Georgia businesses and taxpayers have the opportunity to direct a portion of their state income taxes to approved law enforcement foundations, including the Carrollton Police Foundation Inc..
This valuable dollar-for-dollar tax credit allows individual filers to contribute up to $5,000, married couples filing jointly up to $10,000, Subchapter S corporations and partnerships up to $10,000, and eligible C corporations up to 75% of their Georgia income tax liability, with a maximum contribution of $3 million.
