| The Carrollton Police Department is excited to announce our new program called B.A.D.G.E. (Bullying, Attitude, Drugs & Gangs Education). This program was created and designed by in house staff working in conjuction with the Carrollton City Schools. Officers are now teaching the program to 5th graders at Carrollton Middle School. | Condolences | ||
| The Carrollton Police Department would like to offer our condolences to the family of retired Sgt. Allen Warren who passed away on April 16, 2008. Sgt. Warren began his law enforcement career with the Carrollton Police Department in October of 1965. After dedicated service to the City of Carrollton for nearly 25 years, Sgt. Warren retired in April 1990. Sgt. Warren served this Department in many capacities during his career. Almon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Friday 04/18 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral will be Saturday at 11am in the Almon Chapel. | ||

| Carrollton Police Welcomes K-9 Rudy | ||

Officer Matt Kenerly has a new partner. Rudy is a Belgian Malinois and is trained in drug detection, suspect apprehension and tracking. | Cpl. Kerry Steed Retirement | ||
| Cpl. Kerry Steed retired from the Carrollton Police Department on 02/29/08. Kerry began his career with the department in 1982. He served here for 26 years. Kerry worked in the patrol division, traffic unit and Criminal Investigations Division during his career. Kerry was and continues to be respected and admired by many of his peers. | The Carrollton Fraternal Order of Police hosted the annual "Shop with A Cop" on Thursday, December 20th. We were able to provide a wonderful Christmas experience for 23 kids and their families.
